The number “390” pages homage to the V8 engine from the original fastback pony car, boasting a displacement of 6.4 liters, or 390 cubic inches, and generating a power of 320 horsepower at that time. The minute font, inspired by the numerals on “The Original Pony Car” counters, mirrored in the car-inspired aesthetic. The minute single-hand moves in a semi-circle from the 0 to the 60-minute mark, then retrogrades back to 0, and the hour is displayed in a window at 6 completing visually the circle, akin like a gauge. Since its creation, the association with TELOS Watch has been a strategic partnership for the Franco-Swiss watchmaker RESERVOIR, nourished by human affinity, technical challenges, and the challenge of manufacturing larger series. Over the past decade, the Swiss engine manufacturer TELOS Watch boasts remarkable watchmaking achievements in the world of Swiss fine watchmaking. This structure combines the skills of its teams with the proximity of high-tech Swiss suppliers. Their art is also revealed in the precision of the measurements, the rigor of the controls and the attention paid to each stage of work, regardless of the mechanical complexity of the watch.

This association is now giving birth to the new RESERVOIR RSV-240 caliber, whose revisited P168 module has been specially developed to measure, still animating the three horological complications (retrograde minute, jumping hour and power reserve) coupled to a manufacture movement (LJP-G100 base) and delivers an increased power reserve of 56 hours. From a horological point of view, the new P168 module required in-depth consideration for its development, its mass production, and its reliability.
