THE RESERVOIR GT TOUR WATCH APPEARS IN THE LATEST NETFLIX OLD SCHOOL ADVENTURE MOVIE “FINDING ‘OHANA”
Jude Weng, prolific director on beloved TV comedies (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” “The Good Place,” and “Fresh Off the Boat,”) making her splashy feature debut with her first film “Finding ‘Ohana.”
Called “Finding ‘Ohana” the film released on the streaming service Netflix on January 29, 2021, tells the story of two siblings who connect with their culture on an unexpected adventure to Hawaii. The movie in which the old school watch GT Tour 371 SE appears, reached the top spot in Netflix’s top ten the weekend in debuted. The official synopsis reads: “A summer in rural Oahu takes an exciting turn for two Brooklyn-raised siblings when a journal pointing to long-lost treasure sets them on an epic adventure with new friends and leads them to reconnect with their Hawaiian heritage.”

Written by Christina Strain and directed by Jude Weng (“Young Sheldon” and “The Good Place”), “Finding ‘Ohana” stars Kea Peahu, Alex Aiono, Lindsay Watson (“The Wind & the Reckoning”), Owen Vaccaro (“Daddy’s Home”), Kelly Hu (“The Scorpion King”), Ke Huy Quan (“Second Time Around”), Kyndra Sanchez (“Marry Me”) and more.
The flick marks Peahu and Aiono’s acting debuts and, according to Variety, it was “very important for Netflix to find a cast of predominantly Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders, even if it meant finding a lot of newcomers for the large ensemble.” Alex Aiono who plays the character Ioane, wore an old school men watch GT TOUR 371 SE.
